Tapeshwar Temple – Tapkeshwar is Lord Shiva’s famous holy temple on the bank of the seasonal river Asan near Dehradun. Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple is known to have one of the oldest Shivling in the cave, 6.5 km from Dehradun city. As water droplets drop on the Shivling continuously, it was named’ Tapkeshwar.’ Lord Hanuman’s giant statue is the temple’s main attraction.

Sahastradhara – Sahastradhara literally means’ thousand fold of spring.’ The place is 14 km away from the bus stand in Dehradun. It is a popular attraction, famous for its elated beauty and healing value as it contains sulfur in its water. While the place can be visited at any time during the year, at the rainy season, you would love the charming beauty of the waterfall when the stream suggests a gushing downpour.
